i am an non-professional [not an amateur] self taught artist based in the uk and have been painting on and off [mostly off] for most of my life. a couple of years ago, i migrated from oils on ply/board to acrylics - and some oils - on canvas, which is mainly the pictures on this site

i also produce copies of these current paintings as prints, using the latest HP printing technology with light, fast UV inks which have a 25 year life expectancy. Obviously these are be considerably cheaper than an original on canvas !

in addition to local exhibitions in the Midlands, i have exhibited in the Rose Gallery, London and some of my earlier works are in other countries such as France, Poland and Thailand

many of my paintings are an attempt to get the viewer to observe the everyday scenes in a different light and to think outside the box
